College Park Quarterly Meeting (CPQM) is a quarterly gathering of unprogrammed Monthly Meetings for Worship of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in the Northern California and Northern Nevada region (list).
The Quarter meets on a regular schedule.

The theme for this Quarterly gathering is "Listening to Each Other... Listening to God"
Quaker worship is a collective state wherein we are totally engaged in deep
listening. If we fail to achieve that state, it is often because of habits of
thought that filter the truth we might otherwise discover, tuning what we hear
to match our expectations and preserve our mental comfort. At its worst, such a
barrier stops us from hearing each other at all. Then we tell ourselves "That person is not a true Quaker, because Quakers don't believe
THAT." Not hearing them, we reject them, based on what we believe that they
believe. Listening is worship only if we take the trouble to set aside our own
beliefs and our opinions of others' beliefs. We can, if we try, listen
without preconditions, without expectation that what we hear must match what
we know is true. We can listen for the Voice that spoke to those who
wrote the scriptures of all faiths, the Voice that speaks wordlessly throughout
the Creation in which we dwell.

Quaker Center has information about Quakerism. The following brief introduction is intended to simply explain College Park Quarterly Meeting's context in the Society of Friends.
There are unprogrammed and programmed Friend (Quaker) meetings for worship. Unprogrammed Friends meetings gather in silence for worship, and programmed meetings usually have a pastor and have worship similiar to Protestant services.
Local meetings, which have weekly Meetings for Worship, are called Monthly Meetings because they hold a Meeting for the purpose of business once a month. They are organized by geographic region into larger Quarterly Meetings, which are organized into yet-larger Yearly Meetings.
CPQM is a gathering of unprogrammed monthly meetings in Northern California and Northern Nevada (list of meetings). It is a part of Pacific Yearly Meeting (PYM). Another quarterly meeting in PYM is the Southern California Quarterly Meeting, which includes Monthly Meetings in Southern California, Southern Nevada, Mexico and Central America.
The Yearly Meeting for programmed meetings in this area is Evangelical Friends Church Southwest.
